The average Dutch person pronounces English quite poorly. Even our own Prime Minister could use a "little" extra practice. When I was younger I lived in Australia for approximately five years. I finished High School "Down Under" before moving back home. I had my friends and lived a happy teenager life. English was spoken throughout the day, even at home. I loved Australia, it is such a beautiful country with flora and fauna unlike anything we know in Europe. It's definitely on my bucket list to go back for a visit again!
